能源材料工程系前身专业为材料物理专业,成立于2005年。现有教师28人,其中教授6人,副教授9人,博士学位占比82%,国家级省部级人才3人。为优化调整人才培养模式,2019年与中国科学院大学重庆学院成立“材料物理菁英班”,同年获批材料物理重庆市一流专业建设点;2021年获批物理学一级学科硕士点;2025年备案新能源材料与器件专业。拥有国家级省部级科教平台1个以及重庆市教学团队、研究生导师团队2个。专业面向新能源材料,融合传感、信息、光电、火安全领域新技术,以培养能源、信息、新材料行业优质毕业生及研究生源为目标,现有市级一流课程和课程思政5门。与恩捷纽米科技有股份有限公司、国电投重庆研究院、SGS标瑞新能源技术有限公司、明途光学科技有限公司、金美新材料科技有限公司等多家能源领域公司保持产学研合作。主要从事高性能新能源材料、火安全聚合物功能材料与发光功能材料等方向的理论研究与应用研发。
The Department of Energy Materials Engineering, which originated from the Major of Material Physics, was established in 2005. The department now has 28 faculty members, including 6 professors and 9 associated professors, with 82% Ph.D. holders. The “Materials Physics Elite Class” was established with the assistance of the University of Chinese Academy of Science (UCAS, Chongqing), as well as the first-rate major of Chongqing of Material Physics was certificated in 2019. In 2021, it was approved as professional master's degree authorization organization of physics discipline. In 2025, the major of New Energy Materials and Devices had been officially registered. A provincial science and education platform, and two graduate tutor teaching teams of Chongqing had also been approved. The undergraduate education program of this major now mainly focus on energy materials. cooperating companies in the field of energy materials, e.g., State power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) of Chongqing, SGS New Energy Techology Co., LTD., etc. The research interests of the Major cover the theories and application of high-performance new energy materials, intelligent sensing materials, fire-retardant functional materials, luminous functional materials, etc.
